Knowing your calorie requirement

It’s essential to have an understanding of your calorie requirement if;

 you want to lose weight

 you want to maintain your weight

 you want to gain weight / muscle mass

Here is one method of calculating your BMR & TDEE

It will require a calculator!

There are multiple different equations that you could use … but most people will use an online BMR calculator  

When using an online BMR calculator, make sure that you’re providing the following information, for an accurate calorie count:

- Age

- Height

- Weight

- Activity Levels

Once you understand your calorie requirement, you can begin to learn how to control portion size.
